This hideaway village and its white sandy beaches are reached by road only one and half hour from Nusa Dua. With a short boat ride then takes you to these dive sites. Bright white sand and colourful corals are home to everything from the smallest reef fishes to all manner of marine life; rays, cuttlefish, crocodile fish, and frequent shark & turtle sightings. Much more gentle & protected than the islands off the East coast, and for this reason with much warmer waters too.
Blue Lagoon
Lies just around the corner from Padang Bay are several dive site centered on blue lagoon beach. The reef slope here is large coral bommies and rock. This whole area is great for searching scorpion fish, prog fish, boxfish, tuna and yellow trumpet fish many more.
Ferry Channel
Just Outside padang bay harbor is a sloping reef with same large bommies, patches of rubble and large barrel sponges. The reef is not the prettiest but the chanel is great for spotting reef shark, turtle and large cuttlefish. There are also angelfish. Because of its location cluse to the harbor diver need to be aware of boat traffic when surfacing.
